Job Description

NetImpact is seeking a detailed-oriented and versatile writer to join its Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate is a “language nerd” with demonstrated ability to craft high quality, written content for diverse purposes in a high-paced environment. You will support marketing and sales efforts for an established, well-reputed American company that provides services and software products to the U.S. federal government.

Location: Pune / Remote

Responsibilities

  • Content writing, copywriting, B2B content development (long-form and short-form), and messaging ideation and development for general brand, corporate services and capabilities, and product marketing.
  • Research target audience and produce the most effective medium of outreach based on buyer information consumption preferences and purchasing habits, creating engaging, impactful content that resonates with the target audience and drives measurable results.
  • Brand and product positioning support, including research and craft compelling positioning and messaging tailored to customer community, buyer persona, or demand signals – including working with the team to ideate unique, differentiating concepts and value propositions
  • Develop high-impact collateral to support sales and marketing in print and digital form, such as: white papers, reports, blog posts, eBooks, case studies, articles, sales presentations, data sheets, slicks, website content, brochures, demo videos, Youtube shorts, event / tradeshow assets, etc. This may include working with or interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs), visual design and production specialists, and other support functions.
  • Support audience-appropriate content creation for digital lead generation campaigns conducted via LinkedIn, Google, industry associations, tradeshows, direct email, call campaigns, etc. with ability to optimize asset based on buyer’s journey and other considerations
  • Support product and capability asset development and announcements to drive awareness and generate demand, including developing and implementing marketing plans for product launches and updates, providing copyediting support for product collateral (e.g., user guides), leading ideation and development to define effective value proposition, etc.
  • Provide ghostwriting for a variety of internal stakeholder voices and styles, including adapting the appropriate language register, vocabulary, format, and angle
  • Draft public responses to moderate and influence conversational in social media groups and public forums, in accordance with platform etiquette and compliant with brand identity
  • Propose or draft scheduling sequence with audience and reader experience in mind to publish content on all platforms (e.g., blog series, topic series, etc.) and promotional activities to improve consumption of content
  • Learn, understand, and apply knowledge of American news and decisions, including legislation, budgeting, agency strategic priorities, and technical trends, and conduct research of competitive analysis to align marketing activities and maximize effectiveness of content produced.
  • Strong reading and comprehensive skills are a must with ability to understand industry news, emerging topics, and best practices in content marketing to maintain relevance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

  • A minimum experience of 4 years in marketing, advertising, presales/business development, or communication roles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Expert communicator who can adapt content to audience, purpose, and readability based on communication goals and effectiveness
  • Strong strategic thinking and genuine curiosity to make connections between industry trends, corporate goals, and marketing opportunities
  • Robust analytical skills with the ability to direct or conduct research and translate market insights into actionable plans
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and add value immediately in a fast-paced environment
  • Possesses basic understanding of SEO keywords and concepts behind branded writing – demonstrated ability to understand digital technology and impact on the creative concept
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, teamwork, and customer service skills with ability to adapt to American cultural norms (e.g., learn operational tempo and style, apply language nuances to written content, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize and support multiple concurrent tasks and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Must be comfortable working and interacting with senior management (internal and external), including C-Suite executives
  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing tools, including SEO content, Google Analytics, CRM applications and dashboards

Preferred

  • MBA (good to have)
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
