Responsibilities

  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
  • Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Track, manage, and report on various projects, products, and systems to project leadership using best practices in business analytics.
  • Leverage continuous process improvement techniques to evaluate performance results and recommend changes that result in short- and long-term organizational growth and success.
  • Determines and documents user requirements for business processes and abides by those requirements for future projects.
  • Provides expertise in, but not limited to, configuration management, strategic planning, knowledge management, business analysis, and technical analysis.
  • Author technical documents for review and acceptance, such as procedural manuals, job aids, guidance/publication, and other documentation tools.
  • Prepare and present written and oral reports on recommendations, metrics, impacts, and conclusions based on analyses.
  • Provide risk management support, including risk evaluation and scoring, risk mitigation development and execution, risk tracking/reporting, and other project risk/issue management activities.
  • Develop and establish short, mid, and long-range objectives and priorities for approval by leadership.
  • Promote organizational lessons learned information as a reusable, shared, protected, consistent, and compliant resource.
  • Develop or contribute to the Monthly Status Report for the client.
  • May supervise support, technical, and professional staff, as required by the contract.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Six years of experience in Health IT
  • Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities
  • Experience with process improvement processes techniques and business analytics
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong leadership as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form
  • Genuine desire to learn is essential
  • Ability to gain and maintain clearance

 

Preferred

  • Experience working in the DoD and/or DHA
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
