Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to support our federal client in the enhancement of a ServiceNow solution. The successful candidate will have for familiarity/experience with the full suite of ServiceNow configuration & customization functionality that enable them to work with internal development teams, external development partners and key stakeholders to create and maintain enterprise business applications for our customers. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Lead meetings with system owners and other stakeholders to gather business requirements 
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. 
  • Writes detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. 
  • Facilitates requirements gathering, documents requirements, facilitates continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Analyze business requirements, accurately translating them into functional and technical requirements for the development team 
  • Prepare client-facing and internal deliverables 
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing activities 
  • Lead training, demos, and education activities for customers and stakeholders 
  • Develop procedures, manuals, and other documentation for the systems developed based on the requirements gathered 
  • Test various applications against documented requirements 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • 3+ years of relevant Business Analysis experience 
  • 2+ year of business process mapping, optimization/reengineering 
  • Experience collecting and documenting application requirements systems using Agile/Scrum methodology 
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal 
  • Excellent organization skills 
  • Must maintain or be eligible for Public Trust  

 

Preferred 

  • Certified ScrumMaster Certification 
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification  
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
