Job Description

As an Application Developer, you will lead the design and development of complex software applications. Drawing on your extensive experience, you will provide technical leadership to the development team, overseeing the implementation of scalable and robust solutions. Your role includes mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into innovative software solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of applications using Microsoft PowerPlatform, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
  • Lead the implementation of workflow automation solutions using Power Automate and Dynamics 365.
  • Drive the customization and configuration of Dynamics 365 applications to meet complex business requirements.
  • Manage the integration of PowerPlatform applications with other Microsoft and third-party systems.
  • Conduct advanced testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance.
  • Work closely with business analysts, users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application development, customization, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure applications meet security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborates with Stakeholders to develop product features and capabilities to deliver business value.
  • Responsible for software engineering using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software products (including but not limited to Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft SharePoint, and Tableau).
  • Responsible for supporting software operations and maintenance including addressing software patches, errors, bugs, and vulnerabilities
  • Ensures solution is developed to security and quality standards, as well as configured for performance, scalability, upgradability, and re-usability.
  • Assist with developing test cases to ensure software meets communicated requirement.
  • Assists with turning requirements into user stories with clear definition of done.
  • Assist with estimating level of effort

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing applications using Microsoft PowerPlatform, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
  • Deep knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency with development tools like Visual Studio, PowerShell, and Microsoft Flow.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex development challenges.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: MS Power Platform Developer (PL900), MS SharePoint Certifications (MS600), Tableau Data Analyst, ISC2 Secure Software Lifecycle Professional, ICP, SAFe SA 

  • Experience with Agile Software Development,

     MS Power Platform, Tableau, SAS, MS SharePoint, DevSecOps, BizDevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Azure Dev Ops, SoapUI, Chrome/Edge/MS Office, Selenium, SonarQube

Preferred

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals are preferred.
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
