Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with at least 3 years of experience to oversee all aspects of large projects or significant segments of large and complex projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team, analyze new and complex project-related problems, and create innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management. The Project Manager will also provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Ensure all project objectives are met within the set timelines and budget.
  • Analyze new and complex project-related problems, and develop innovative solutions involving the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management.
  • Provide applications systems analysis and develop long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities.
  • Ensure necessary support resources are allocated efficiently for systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities.
  • Implement creative solutions to enhance project performance and address unforeseen challenges.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with client and external stakeholders to guide the vision and priorities of the software delivery teams.
  • Single point of accountability for contract performance; has full authority to act on all contract matters relating to daily operations.
  • Coordinates Project Kickoff Meeting and submits complete and accurate Weekly Status Reports and Monthly Status Reports.
  • Leads multiple cross-functional scrum teams supporting complex software engineering activities
  • Guides Portfolio Management Standards and Agile/Scrum Development methodology
  • Communicates at senior levels within customer organization
  • Orchestrates the customer and contractor personnel through formulation, execution, review and validation of task plans and deliverable items

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management.
  • Strong skills in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with the technologies and platforms mentioned in the document.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications: PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFE SA, Certified ScrumMaster, AWS Cloud Practioner

  • Experience With: Program Management, Agile Software Development, DevSecOps, BizDevOps, CI/CD, AWS Tools & Services, Azure Dev Ops, Chrome/Edge/MS Office

Preferred

  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
