Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation through completion. You will define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Your role includes identifying resources needed, coordinating project teams, and managing project budgets and timelines. You will utilize project management tools and methodologies to monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders. As a leader, you will motivate team members, resolve conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met within scope and budget constraints. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results will contribute to the organization's success and growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project teams, assign tasks, and ensure accountability.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Implement change management processes to handle project changes effectively.
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Prepare and submit monthly status reports detailing ongoing efforts in quality assurance, configuration management, and security management related to the task order.
  • Conduct continuous monitoring to ensure adherence to project objectives and prompt identification of issues.
  • Oversee all technical and functional activities essential for thorough program management as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Implement advanced productivity and management methodologies, including quality assurance, configuration management, security management, and resource management.
  • Develop a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan outlining systematic methods for monitoring and evaluating success.
  • Collaborates with client to set delivery priority for Scrum Team
  • Leads all sprint/scrum team ceremonies as the Scrum Master
  • Ensures that each sprint includes deployable, production-ready software, unit tests, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Assists with turning requirements into user stories with clear definition of done.
  • Assists with estimating level of effort for completing requested features and capabilities.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining scrum team delivery plan, to manage team resources, assignments of day-to-day activities, reporting, and documentation quality, schedule, risks, and issues.
  • Responsible for adherence to and execution of SDLC activities
  • Ensures the quality, completeness, and timeliness of all SOW deliverables.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior project management roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are required.
  • Familiarity with the specific technologies and methodologies mentioned in the document.
  • Certifications: PMI-PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe SA, Certified ScrumMaster, AWS Cloud Practioner
  • Experience with Project Management, Agile Software Development, DevSecOps, BizDevOps, CI/CD, PMBOK, AWS Tools & Services, Azure Dev Ops, Chrome/Edge/MS Office

 Preferred

  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
