Job Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level ServiceNow Developer to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will be responsible for the development, configuration, support, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring they align with ITIL processes and best practices. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Develop applications on the ServiceNow platform using industry best practices. 
  • Analyze business requirements and collaborate with clients and requirements analysts. 
  • Design and implement solutions, including application modifications, workflows, UI elements, ACLs, and integrations. 
  • Conduct hands-on development, including unit testing for assigned user stories. 
  • Create custom script-includes and APIs to integrate ServiceNow with other systems. 
  • Migrate update sets and batch deployments across environments. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues. 
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, story pointing, and Scrum ceremonies. 
  • Ensure security, performance, scalability, and reusability of solutions. 
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for each sprint. 

 

Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Administrator, Application Developer, and Implementation Specialist certifications. 
  • 4+ years of relevant experience, with 3+ years of direct ServiceNow development. 
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, security, data management, and integrations. 
  • Experience adhering to architectural standards and best practices. 
  • Must meet government eligibility requirements and pass a background check and drug test. 
  • Experience with ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, or Security Operations applications. 

 

Preferred: 

  • Federal consulting experience. 
  • Familiarity with web technologies (DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, JavaScript). 
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow development (Glide Stack, Jelly scripts, JavaScript coding, database relationships).
