Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst leads the data analysis efforts within the organization, providing strategic insights that drive decision-making and organizational change. This role involves overseeing data quality, developing complex data models, and producing high-level reports and dashboards. The Senior Data Analyst collaborates with executive leadership, the OCM team, and stakeholders to align data strategies with business goals and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate data elements required for managing stakeholder information across the program and make changes to stakeholder management tool per CCB/release process
  • Design a dynamic and scalable data model that adapts to evolving program needs and stakeholder management requirements
  • Contribute to the requirements for the Stakeholder Management Tool by designing data models and ensuring data accessibility, compliance, and scalability
  • Develop customizable views and dashboards for tracking stakeholder engagement metrics, such as adoption, knowledge levels, and areas for improvement
  • Manage up-to-date stakeholder data, including creating integrations for data feeds or performing regular uploads to maintain currency of data
  • Conduct data analysis to derive insights and trends from stakeholder data, aiding decision-making processes and supporting OCM strategies
  • Utilize scripting and querying tools such as Python, R, and SQL to extract, synthesize, and validate data from different sources
  • Transform raw data into actionable metrics by developing reports, data files, and interactive dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Monitor the quality of collected data, troubleshoot issues, and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Implement data standards and automated processes to enhance data collection, validation, and reporting activities
  • Provide regular updates on data analysis, tool development, and stakeholder engagement efforts to project leadership and stakeholders
  • Continue to refine the data model and reporting mechanisms based on feedback
  • Provide access and training on the Stakeholder Management Tool, including adjustment or creation of role-based access lists and establishing integrations with active directory

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or related fields
  • Experience with data analytics tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with data standards, data protection, and compliance requirements, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including ability to prepare and present client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related
  • Eligible for or possesses active/interim Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in Data Science, Statistical Analysis, or related fields is a plus.
  • Additional certifications in leadership or data governance are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in configuration, customization, APIs, ACLs, and advanced scripting
  • Candidates with ServiceNow System Administrator, Application Developer, and Implementation Specialist certifications such as the following are prioritized: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow ITOM-related Foundations training
  • Agile/Scrum related certifications
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Certification
  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience
