Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Program/Project Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will work with customers and the engagement team to lead the ongoing implementation and operations of an enterprise-wide ServiceNow system for our Federal customer.

Responsibilities include: Managing the project from initiation to delivery and support, including but not limited to meeting with the project stakeholders to capture requirements, manage project documentation, oversee agile sprint ceremonies, manage and tract UAT status, maintain project plan and update weekly status within the projected timelines to ensure deliverables are met on time and to the desired quality.  In addition, lead and/or oversee developing and maintaining schedules, risk and issue management, coordination of stakeholders, oversight of quality of deliverables and supporting documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • This position is accountable for management, oversight, and coordination of the entire scope of the project, as well as the successful completion of all contractual deliverables.
  • Performs all project management processes for diverse complex IT and operations programs, i.e., initiating, planning, executing, and support.
  • Facilitating project initiation via PMO kickoff, transition-in, and ongoing execution of development/testing efforts.
  • Providing project management oversight to ensure deliverables meet project standards.
  • Ensuring scope, cost, schedule are met and performance metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Assist with the weekly and monthly project status reports.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks
  • Providing and/or presenting regular status reports and reviews, customer and NetImpact facing.
  • Coordinating knowledge sharing and efficiencies among project staff and Client.
  • Hands-on project manager for some projects including serving as Scrum Master for the development phases of the project.
  • Run the daily scrum meetings using the Agile Kanban boards and ensure user stories are being tracked for timely completion.
  • Participating in NetImpact development activities including supporting marketing, proposal, thought leadership, and recruiting efforts.

Qualifications

Required

  • A BA/BS in related field 
  • 4 years of experience in Program/Project Management managing technical enterprise initiatives/programs.
  • Experience leading a program consisting of experienced, high achieving staff.
  • Capable of communicating with senior management of the customer and NetImpact at technical, business, and financial levels.
  • Manager with excellent program and project management skills to oversee multiple application development and support initiatives.
  • Experience serving as a scrum master in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience organizing, coordinating and leading teams in analyzing, documenting business requirements, functional design and development of ServiceNow solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with multi-agency stakeholders.
  • Experience leading projects involving Servicenow application development.
  • Strong leadership and soft skills in interacting with a wide array of project stakeholders.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearance requirements.

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional Certification
  • Experience mapping customer needs to ServiceNow capabilities / solutions
    ServiceNow certifications
  • Experience supporting federal government projects and ensuring deliverables meeting security and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator 
  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience
