Change/Configuration Manager

NetImpact Strategies is seeking results-driven Change/Configuration Manager with extensive experience in overseeing change and configuration management processes. The role requires to be adept at ensuring smooth transitions by implementing ITIL-aligned frameworks while minimizing disruptions to operations. This individual should have expertise in configuration identification, version control, and maintaining configuration baselines, compliance and traceability. They should have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage risks, and maintain a robust change governance framework.  

This role is located onsite in Bethesda, MD. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement change management processes aligned with ITIL best practices to minimize disruption and ensure smooth transitions. 
• Ensure compliance with agency lifecycle policies and Federal Healthcare standards and regulations. 
• Ensure endpoints comply with security regulations and standards, including minimum baseline configuration, vulnerability management, encryption, and Continuous Device Monitoring (CDM). 
• Manage endpoint management systems such as Microsoft MECM and JAMF for deployment, updates, and security patching of operating systems, Microsoft 365, and third-party applications. 
• Ensure timely and automated deployment of critical, high, and moderate patches to servers and infrastructure per InfoSec Policy Handbook requirements. 
• Oversee and maintain monitoring tools to ensure comprehensive asset inventories (hardware and software) are available for reporting and analysis. 
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure hardware and software solutions meet organizational needs and comply with applicable policies. 

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• 3-5 years of experience in change and configuration management, IT service management, or a similar role.

Preferred

• ITIL v3 or v4 Certification 
• Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) 
• CMII Certification (Certified Configuration Management Practitioner) 
• Previous Federal Consulting Experience
