Job Description

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a business analyst to join our team, in support of a federal client.

Business Analyst is dynamic and detail-oriented, with a strong track record of driving business solutions through data-driven insights and strategic planning. He should be skilled in gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating stakeholder communication, and translating complex business needs into actionable solutions. Proficient in creating detailed documentation, workflows, and process improvements, he should optimize operational efficiency. He should be adept at leveraging analytical tools and methodologies to identify trends, resolve challenges, and support decision-making. Known for fostering collaboration across teams, he should deliver measurable results aligned with organizational goals. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Gather and document business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. 
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvements or business solutions. 
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers, designers, and IT teams. 
  • Develop detailed project documentation, including workflows, use cases, and process maps. 
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity throughout project lifecycles. 
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and workshops to elicit feedback and validate proposed solutions. 
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring deliverables meet business objectives and timelines. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success or business processes. 
  • Design and implement process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and insights to support data-driven decision-making. 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with hands-on involvement in gathering requirements, process analysis, and solution implementation. 
  • Proven experience working on both technical and business projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA). 
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or Scrum Master for Agile-focused roles. 
  • Previous federal consulting experience
