Data Analytics/Power BI Developer

NetImpact Strategies is seeking a Data Analytics / Power BI Developer who is an analytical and results-driven professional specializing in transforming complex data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and data visualization. This individual should be proficient in designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. They should be skilled in data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating diverse data sources for comprehensive analysis. They should be adept at working with stakeholders to identify key metrics, optimize workflows, and deliver impactful business intelligence solutions.  

This role is located onsite in Bethesda, MD. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform data analytics to provide actionable insights and information to stakeholders. Support decision-making and solution development by analyzing data trends and patterns. 
• Design and build interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI to meet business requirements. 
• Automate data extraction and integration from enterprise data sources using web services. 
• Utilize automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from various sources, transforming it into usable metrics and reducing manual data processing efforts. 
• Construct and monitor data sets to ensure data quality and integrity. Address and resolve any database issues to maintain reliable and accurate data. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems to support seamless data operations and reporting. 
• Utilize data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools to create visual representations of data that enhance understanding and decision-making. 
• Apply statistical methods and data modeling techniques to analyze data and support insights. 
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven decisions are well-informed and actionable. 

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or related fields. 
• Basic understanding of data analysis methods, data validation, and data visualization. 
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python). 

 Preferred

• Certification in Data Analytics or related fields is a plus. 
• Previous federal consulting experience
