Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will be a part of the Strategic Communications team for our federal client. The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and informative communication as well as providing strategic communication support for our federal client. 

 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key messages and target audience.
• Develop, lead, implement, and evaluate strategic communications and promotions plans.
• Support social media channels, including developing engaging content, monitoring conversations, and aid social media campaigns.
• Write high-quality content for a variety of digital channels, including X, LinkedIn, web, and email.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
• Provide communications consultations to staff throughout the organization, ensuring that all communication approaches are aligned with client’s objectives and priorities and Federal requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelors degree in related field
• Experience (2+ years) using communications analytics tools such as Google Analytics and audience analysis
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills, including expertise in plain language and best practices for accessibility, and inverted pyramid style
• Ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborative team player
• Flexible, openness to feedback, and willing to do all levels of work required to make a project successful
• Ability to collaborate with and promote a positive relationship between colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
