Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a System Administrator to support a Federal Agency.

This role is located 100% onsite at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia

Candidates must be able to pass a background investigation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, sustain and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware
  • Use COTS and third party-packages approved Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Shall design and program web pages and/or sites and is responsible for the design, layout, coding,
  • Create, modify, and maintain graphics of multiple websites.
  • Coordinate closely with clients and members of the Web Team to both create detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Create, administer, and support custom web and scripting applications using platforms such as SharePoint, .ASP, .NET, and JAVA, ensuring the effective installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint servers and service applications.
  • Perform backup and restore operations for SharePoint databases, develop and run PowerShell or SharePoint management shell scripts, install Microsoft updates, and troubleshoot server/website issues, while providing content management support.
  • Write code in C#, ASP.NET or the current approved standard programming language.
  • Administer and maintain the security, integrity, and availability of infrastructure platforms, performing capacity analysis, system monitoring, and platform maintenance upgrades.
  • Create documentation for operational upkeep, provide patch management for OS upgrades, and support virtual machines (VMs).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Experience- Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency
  • Education- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency
  • IAT II: (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **) DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement,
  • CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure platforms, capacity analysis, and patch management.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
  • Familiarity with virtual machine management and system security compliance.
