Position Overview:

NetImpact is actively seeking a skilled DevOps & Automation Framework Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will excel in automation testing, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and scripting, with a keen eye for scalable and maintainable software solutions. This role is crucial for maintaining robust automated testing frameworks and sophisticated DevOps pipelines, enhancing our software reliability and quality in support of mission-critical digital health applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver (C# and Java) integrated with TestNG, NUnit, or MSTest.
  • Conduct automated API testing leveraging tools such as Postman and Swagger, managing JSON formats and API mocking techniques.
  • Script and integrate performance tests using K6, setting clear thresholds and analyzing trends within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform automated mobile testing on Android/iOS using BrowserStack App Automate and Appium.
  • Implement and manage sophisticated CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (YAML and classic pipelines) and GitLab (runners, caching, artifact handling).
  • Support build and deployment operations using .NET CLI, Maven, Gradle, and package management.
  • Utilize Docker containerization technology, maintaining compatibility with Selenium Grid and other testing containers.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Bash, and Windows Batch to optimize workflow and automation efficiency.
  • Engage in monitoring and visualization activities using Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Log Analytics to proactively address performance issues.
  • Manage JSON and YAML configuration files for dynamic test environments and configurations.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps and automated testing roles within an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/NUnit/MSTest, API testing tools (Postman/Swagger), and K6 performance testing.
  • Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
  • Expert-level scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (BrowserStack, Appium).
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Log Analytics) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Security Clearance preferred.
