Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to manage and enhance the ServiceNow platform for a federal client. This role involves configuring, customizing, and maintaining the platform to meet organizational needs, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, monitor, and complete technical tasks related to ServiceNow configuration and implementation, supporting Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 services.
  • Provide software coding and configuration services including screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, scripting, integrations, and custom application development.
  • Create and maintain service catalog items and workflows to support organizational needs.
  • Design and implement automated workflows to streamline business processes.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and tools to enhance platform functionality.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership visibility.
  • Deliver training and support for end-users and administrators to improve platform adoption.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within ServiceNow.
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation for ServiceNow environments.
  • Advise on the impact of proposed changes to the ServiceNow platform and ecosystem.
  • Provide ServiceNow administration, sustainment, and subject matter expertise to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages, including JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and business units.

 

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • ITIL Certification
